A Boy & His Dream is honored to welcome Loyal Lee Bridges to the 2026 Legacy Gala

Loyal Lee Bridges was born in Chicago, Illinois, and is a senior at the University of Missouri studying Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. His interest in STEM started early, but it truly clicked when he received a Snap Circuit board as a gift from his grandmother. Building a small working fan and watching his ideas come to life opened his eyes to what engineering could be.

That moment quietly set the foundation for his future. Today, Loyal is involved in graduate-level research, community service, and leadership through organizations like A Boy and His Dream Foundation, Share Food Bring Hope, and Real Men Read. He’s passionate about giving back and looks forward to joining the board to continue.

Loyal is currently seeking internships and full-time opportunities and plans to keep striving until he earns doctorates before his name. Through A Boy and His Dream, he’s learned the importance of mentorship, leadership, and community. I’ll never forget Sunny telling me, when one falls that’s what the village is for, to pick each other up. That mindset continues to guide him as he works to uplift others and be proof that if one person can do it, anyone can.
